A while ago I received a lovely package from Eco Green Crafts containing several tubes of their eco-friendly acrylic paints (Thank you!). With all the fuzz around Christmas time and a long trip overseas it has taking me an embarrassingly long time to put this post together and share our experience but here it goes.
From all the creative activities my daughter’s favourite one by far is painting. She isn’t really into drawing or crafts that require a lot of concentration yet; but the slowness and more physical aspects of painting seem to suit her really well at this stage. So with that in mind, I have been trying to get creative and present her with different surfaces for her to cover with paint. Some of the more successful ones so far have been: rocks, leaves, wooden pegs and small tree branches.
We used the Eco Green Crafts non-toxic acrylic paints on rocks and wood and loved the results; the coverage was great and their creamy texture makes them a pleasure to use. Something I really love is that the colours in their range are earthy and truly beautiful; not your standard hues. Now, being acrylic paints I was expecting some odour from the paints, as this had been my experience in the past, but was pleasantly surprised by the complete lack of smell.
